Anyway! I am writing to inform the community that a decision has been made to temporarily suspend the current promotion recommendation system, and traditional end-of-the-month promotion cycles. In lieu of this system, we shall be taking recommendations from any/all community members, who have been registered for longer than seven days, directly via email. These recommendations can be made for any member, at any time, and should be sent to execs@lists.outpost10f.com. Upon approval, the member recommended will receive their promotion at the earliest convenience - not necessarily at the end of the month.
We are making this change to further bring the system into line with the other changes currently being proposed. That is, to make it more dynamic and fluid.
In short:
- Promotion Recommendations are to be done directly via email
- They can be sent at any time
- Any member is free to send a recommendation, providing they have been a member for seven days.
- Any member can be suggested, even if he/she would not appear in the OTF HQ Promotion System
- Approved promotions will occur ex tempore (immediately)
This change takes place effective immediately, meaning if you feel someone - anyone - is ready for the next step, you can email us today.
As always, the Executive Council can be emailed at any time, if you have wider comments, suggestions, etc!
