Type-12 Shuttlecraft:
The type-12 shuttlecraft is currently the most up to date standard multimission Starfleet shuttlecraft. The type-12 is a newer version of the sleek type-9, which earned quite a degree of notoriety during its test phase, thanks to the inclusion of several type-9 shuttlecrafts on the famed U.S.S. Voyager.
Flight Operations:
As with all space stations and starbases, a good inventory of small spacecraft is essential to base operations. Shuttlecrafts are used for transporting personnel to and from local ships, planets in the Barzan system, Outpost 10F, and even nearby systems. The shuttles also make up part of Outpost 10F's impressive array of attack craft. Already highly maneuverable, the uprated type-12 shuttles (which include microtorpedo launchers and ablative armour generators) represent a significant threat to larger vessels when deployed as a squadron of fighters.
